Very friendly and attentive staff. Clean and tidy atmosphere. Good prices. I would have given 5 stars, but we were not able to make a deal on the vehicle I wanted. I will go back and try again next time I'm in the market for a Nissan.

Typically I hate going into a car dealership to buy a car because I can't stand doing the haggling back and forth about price and the 'mysterious guy in the office approving the sale price' - I have to say I was completely surprised by Shawn Cook of North Plainfield Nissan. I went into the dealership to have my oil changed on my existing Altima and having 145,000 miles on my existing car decided to go into the sales floor to price new ones; Shawn approached me and I thought oh boy here we go... He asked me what I was interested in, I saw the perfect car priced at $33K and told him the price I could pay (which was wayyy apart from the sticker price). I went back into the service department thinking they will never match what I want to pay and a few minutes later Shawn approached me and said we had a deal! No haggling! I was shocked!!! Not only that, I hit the trifecta!!! I got the perfect price for a brand new Nissan Altima, I got a great interest rate of 3.9% and I got a great deal for my trade-in !!! Yes I truly hit the jackpot that day thanks to Shawn Cook my awesome salesman who was willing to listen to what I really needed and delivered. And of course I always thank the good Lord ! I must say First that I work here. So this review is coming from a employee point of view.I been here now for 2 years and 4 months and I have been through 5 different General Mgrs and surviving every single one is not easy they all have different ideas and the whole process gets changed . That is not easy to do but we have to do it the boss is the boss.Most of them don’t understand that we just can’t change the way of doing business over night. Till now my new general manager and VP are the most understanding and honest man I’ve ever worked for and it’s been only 3 months that I know the VP and 3 weeks that I know the general manager. I had an unexpected event happen to my family. With all that stress on me I walked in Monday morning and packed most my items and left without talking to the GM. Because I was thinking that every GM,VP and owners are the same they don’t like excuses and if you are not dying directly yourself you shouldn’t really take off it’s frowned upon from my last 17 years I experience in this business.WELL I WAS WRONG. My GM was very understanding and gave me 2 weeks off and that’s all I really need. What I’m trying to say to all customers new and previous ones is to give us a chance to fix a problem or sale you a new car at a great price.This new management team is the real deal and are going to make BIG changes at North Plainfield Nissan.I can’t wait to get back to work cause I truly know what type of people I’m working for now and I’m really excited.SincerelyNoel Verdejo
